Generals 1., Royals 0 Staff report October 20, 2001 READING, Pa. - Jason Metcalfe scored on a wrist shot from the blue line with 4:39 remaining in the game to give the Greensboro Generals a 1-0 victory over Reading in an East Coast Hockey League game on Friday night. Metcalfe's goal, which was aided by a screen in front of the net, was the second of his pro career. Bujar Amidovski collected 26 saves for the Generals (1-2-0), who killed 10 Royals power-play chances on the night. |
