Bullies 5, Generals 1 Staff reports Greensboro News & Record – February 28, 2002 ATLANTIC CITY, NJ. - The Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies have been exactly that for the Greensboro Generals this season. The Bullies had won all three games against Greensboro heading into their contest on Wednesday night, and Atlantic City made it a clean sweep with a 5-1 victory. Luke Curtin and J.F. Caudron scored two goals each for Atlantic City, including goals two minutes apart in the second period for a 4-1 lead. The Generals had two highlights: Jeff Zehr's 50-foot slap shot in the second for the team's only goal, and goalie John Chain's shutout performance in the third period. The Generals return to the ice on Friday for a home game in Winston-Salem against Charlotte, kicking off a five-game homestand. |
