New Signing: Dan Ragusett, Goaltender 6'2" 200 lbs Northern Michigan
--Set the school record in save percentage with .921 --Recorded single season best goals against average in school history with 2.15 in 2000 --2000 Central Collegiate Hockey Association-Second team all conference --1999-2000 set the record for shut outs in a season with 5 --All time career leader at N. Michigan in GAA, save pct., and shut outs "We were looking for a solid young goaltender to back up and hopefully battle for the number one job. Dan is a big goaltender who possesses the maturity we are looking for in a rookie goalie at age 25. He moves real well in the net for a big man and also handles the puck real well, which will be an asset in our transition game. We're hoping he can have a season similar to the one Scott Sterlling had last season. If our team plays well defensively in front of him, he should do quite well."
