Generals Jerseys Are Up For Auction
Generals Equipment Also For Sale Tomorrow April 2, 2002 Greensboro, NC - The Greensboro Generals of the East Coast Hockey League (ECHL) have announced that both home and road player jerseys from this season will be auctioned to fans through their official team website, www.greensborogenerals.com. There will be a total of 44 jerseys available for auction from 26 different players. The minimum bid is $150.00. The jersey auction will begin on Tuesday, April 9 at 9:00 a.m., and will close on Friday, April 12 at 3:00 p.m. To put a bid on your favorite jersey, simply log on to www.greensborogenerals.com, and click on the Generals jersey on the front page. From there, you can bid on the player jersey of your choice. The list of jerseys available is available on-line, with the current winning bid displayed next to each one. For those who can't bid online, phone bids will be accepted by contacting Christina Quarles at the Generals' business offices at (336) 218-5428. The Generals are also selling some of their equipment tomorrow afternoon from 5:00 - 7:00. The equipment varies in price, but there will be discounts on all of it. The equipment sale is being held in the Generals V.I.P. room at the Greensboro Coliseum. Greensboro Generals season tickets for the 2002-2003 campaign are currently on sale, with a tremendous early bird special of only $199.00 for all season tickets except On-ice and Foxhole tickets. The $199.00 season ticket special runs through May 15, and is good for all 36 home games played at the Greensboro Coliseum.
