Sister Hazel Will Perform Live After Generals Game
College night also gives student discounts for January 12 show

Greensboro, NC - The Greensboro Generals home game on Saturday, January 12 at 7:30 against the Wheeling Nailers will be more than just a game. Not only will it be the return of legendary coach John Brophy to the Greensboro coliseum. It will also be a rock concert, with the group Sister Hazel performing live immediately following the contest. In addition, the Generals are making this game College Night. All tickets for the game and concert are only $7.00 for anyone showing a valid college ID.

Sister Hazel hit it big worldwide with their platinum-selling album "Somewhere More Familiar" in 1997, with hit singles such as "All For You" and "Happy." Their most recent release was “Fortress” in 2000, which produced the songs "Change Your Mind" and "Champagne High". Sister Hazel is currently working on a fourth record, which they hope to release sometime this year.

"Sister Hazel is an extremely entertaining band," says Generals' co-owner and president Rocco Scarfone. "They put their heart and soul into every show they play, and they love to have fun out there onstage. Regardless of what type of music you like, Sister Hazel will have you dancing in the aisles."

Tickets for Saturday's game and the Sister Hazel concert are the same as they are for all games, ranging from $9.00 to $16.00, with discounts available for students and seniors. The special "Foxhole" section is also on sale for $20.00. The foxhole is a private ice-level section fully equipped with a cash bar, barstools and cocktail tables. Tickets are available at both the Greensboro Coliseum and LJVM Coliseum Annex Monday – Saturday from 11:00 – 5:00 and through the first period of all game nights. You can also order tickets through TicketMaster by calling (336) 852-1100, or go to the TicketMaster link at www.greensborogenerals.com.

Don't forget, the Generals also have home games tonight and tomorrow at 7:30 against the Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies and Charlotte Checkers, respectively. Tonight's game is "Guaranteed Win Night." If the Generals don't defeat the Boardwalk Bullies, everyone in attendance will receive a free ticket to a future Generals game.
