May 6, 2004 Season Ticket Letter Dear Generals Supporter, First, I want to again thank you for your support of the Generals this past season. As ardent supporters of the ECHL’s Greensboro Generals, I am writing to encourage each of you to renew your Generals season tickets with a minimum $50.00 deposit per seat as soon as possible. The Greensboro Merchants Association and the Greensboro Sports Council have initiated a campaign to solicit the Greensboro area business community to purchase Generals season tickets with the goal to increase the number of Generals season tickets by 500 before June 1. The best way you can help remove any uncertainty regarding the Generals future is to show local media, City officials and potential investors that we have renewed 100% of last year’s season ticket holders and added 500 new season ticket holders from the business community. We have already been successful in adding 60 new season ticket holders to date for next year and hope to increase that number over the summer in order to reach a total of 1,200 season tickets for next year. In addition to our season ticket sales campaign, additional preparations for the next season are already underway. The first draft of next season’s home schedule looks very favorable with a significant increase in the number of Fri/Sat games. We have also had a great response from this past season advertisers/sponsors who have expressed interest in renewing their support for next season. In the coming weeks, I will be meeting with Coach Adduono to discuss our mutual interest in his return for next season. We would encourage each of you to ask a friend, co-worker or neighbor to purchase a Generals season ticket as well so that we can ensure that Greensboro will continue to provide affordable family entertainment in our community. Please call Brian Cox, who is our Director of Ticket Operations, at 373-7478 to renew your season tickets today! Thank you for your continued support of the Generals and the Coliseum. Sincerely, Matt Brown |
