GREENSBORO - Greensboro Generals Head Coach/General Manager Rick Adduono announced the signing of rookie defenseman Steve Slaton, giving the team further depth at the position for the final week of the ECHL regular season.
Slaton (5-9; 185 lbs), joins the Generals in a critical stretch of season with three games remaining against the Gwinnett Gladiators, Florence Pride, and South Carolina Stingrays. The Generals will host a Playoff Kickoff Party on Sunday, April 4th at 5:00 PM at the team’s administrative offices (1921 W. Lee Street). The party is open to all fans and gives attendees the opportunity to meet Generals players and enjoy a cookout style meal (admission is free). Fans who have previously ordered Generals playoff tickets may pick them up at the party. Members of the Greensboro Generals and Coliseum Box Office staff will be on-hand to assist with playoff and 2004-05 season ticket orders.
