Why the Generals lost: Greensboro could not hold an early lead and fell three points behind the Everblades in the race for home-ice advantage in the ECHL playoffs. The Generals led 2-0 at the end of the first period, but were outshot 16-6 in the pivotal second period when Florida scored the first three of four unanswered goals to take the lead.
