Generals add game, but lose top scorer

Staff reports

The Greensboro Generals added a home game to their schedule and lost a key player from their roster Tuesday.

Mike Bayrack, who leads the Generals with 31 goals and is second on the team with 59 points, was recalled by the Norfolk Admirals of the American Hockey League.

Bayrack, a.5-foot-1,1, 185-pound left winger, played 53 games for the Generals this season.

The Generals will play a home game against the Charlotte Checkers on Monday, March 22, at 7 p.m.

The game was postponed last week because of bad weather, and is one of five home games left before the ECHL playoffs.
