Stars: Greensboro - goalie Jamie Hodson, 45 saves; left winger Eric Fortier, game-winning goal and an assist; center Mark Turner, empty-net goal, assist. The play: With a 2-1 lead in the second period, Fortier netted the game-winner by converting the Generals' third power play. What they said: "Sometimes getting on the road is good for a struggling team. On defense, you're forced to buckle down.
