Why the Generals won: After a scoreless first period, the Generals erupted for four goals in the second, and Augusta could not recover.
Stars: Greensboro - Mark Turner, two goals, two assists. Mike Bayrack, one goal, two assists.
The play: Greensboro scored twice in a 52-second span of the second period, the first on a Matt Elich slap shot, the second on a Tom Reimann shove.

Note: This Saturday is Pack the House night as the Generals take on Atlantic City Individual tickets for the game will be discounted by $2 when purchased in advance, and group tickets will also be discounted. Parking will be free with advance purchase of tickets. For the opportunity to buy group tickets, call Brian Cox at 373-7478. During the game, a raffle will be conducted to benefit the Victory Junction Gang Camp. Raffle items will include free Chick-fil-A sandwiches for a year, as well as tickets to future Generals games. The first 1,000 fans will receive a Hanes tagless T-shirt and an ACC Women's Tournament stress basketball. The first 2,000 fans will receive food coupons. Generals players will also be available to meet fans during a special postgame autograph session.
